QuickLogger is the ultimate time tracking software.
Tracking work time on projects and tasks is important to many of us. We need to be able to see a list of our accomplishments at the end of the day, or to create a invoice without needing to remember the specific time we spent on each aspect of a project.
There are some good time tracking software applications out there, but most of them cost money, which is something none of us like to give up. The few free options available usually lack key features, or are geared toward a small subset of potential users. Many of the free applications are just little scripts that don’t take into account the type of work you do, or that require more effort from you than it would take to just write your time on a sheet of paper.
Enter QuickLogger, the free time/project tracking software that empowers you and gives you the control you really need.
QuickLogger allows you to have control over its most important features. You can easily adjust where the program appears on the screen when it is started, what file format your task lists are saved in, and what name you want to give your logs. You can type in a new task each time or choose from a list of static tasks, a list of your most recent tasks, or a combination of the two.
Quicklogger is 100% free. You are welcome, even encouraged, to make changes to it, hack it, play with it, and make it better than it is. If you decide to do that, we will even post a link to your version here on our Variations page for others to enjoy.
Go ahead and download the program and give it a spin. Then be sure to let us know what you think by posting a comment on the blog or sending us an e-mail.
